Update 1/13/26: Had our first service today due to some rescheduling issues. Kris was the consummate professional. Still highly recommend Atticman Heating and Air Conditioning! After getting bids from 6 different companies for a new HVAC system, we chose Atticman Heating & Air. Big thanks to Zak and the entire crew for the installation. What stood out from the very beginning was their professionalism and genuine courtesy. Every single person on the team was polite, respectful of our space, and worked to get the job done (it was a really long day for them). What really cemented our 5-star rating was how they handled a small mishap. They accidentally scratched some paint off our front door while moving equipment – honestly, it wasn't a major issue for us. However, Zak insisted on making it perfect. Dillion "tested" the new duct work and I was so pleased as l could feel a good amount of air flow through ALL the ducts. A huge improvement from old duct work installed '2000.They also took extra care to cover my flooring and any furniture that needed protection. The crew was very friendly and explained any questions l had. As a business owner myself l appreciate the kindness and professionalism Atticman shows to their clients. I’m a repeat customer for attic man. This last job was a quiet, cool attic fan. Despite some challenges due to its position and wiring, they did a great job and followed through on the original bid. Jesus did a great job finishing up with the drywall.

Atticman Heating, Air Conditioning & Insulation removed the 60+ year old cellulose insulation from my attic and replaced a few, beat-up, A/C flex ducts, installed an attic gable fan and sealed all gaps and areas where air might leak in from the house. I was surprised at how much sealing was done! Then they blew in new 13+ inches of fiberglass insulation. It took them one day longer then expected because of all the debris that was left in the attic from when we had our roof replaced 15 years ago. There was no change to the price of the contract, no surprises! Jorge, Alejandro and Adam were a great team. They showed up on time, protected the walls and floors, from the front door to the attic access, and when they left everything was clean and vacuumed. All in all, I would highly recommend Atticman Heating, Air Conditioning and Insulation! Seems like they do a lot more then A/C work and Insulation. Check them out, I'm sure you'll be happy with their work!

Ryan performed an HVAC inspection for me and went above and beyond. He was professional and thorough. He took pictures and showed me where all the faults in my system were. He never talked down to me and treated me with respect. Afterwards he gave me three different quotes at various budgets based on his findings. Very pleased with the recent installation of a new heat pump and whole house fan by Atticman. It was a two day job but the crew came early each day so to minimize time in the hotter part of the day. Every day there was a text informing us of their ETA. They were courteous and explained everything they were doing, always asking us if we had any questions. They took care to cover floors to minimize impact. I am not an HVAC expert but the details on the job outside and inside seem meticulous. The unit itself is whisper quiet (both the heat pump and whole house fan). They set up dual zones with two thermostats and that works very well. Overall, very impressed with the quality and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

So let us start in how we came to find the attic man. 8 months ago my wife and I were pondering getting a new heat pump as ours was 22 years old, not that it was not working but did not want to get caught in middle of summer in need of one. Called to get a appt and me being a little older was not prepared for AI and got frustrated with making a appt so I put it off. But I kept getting emails and texts every so often and seeing adds and had a good rating from SMUD. So again I tried to make a appt a week ago and again me being older was a little frustrated with AI, but this time I guess someone decided to actually get back to me in a phone call and a appt was set to get a est. So two days later Mike arrived to give an estimate, I already had two estimates from other companies so I kinda of knew about what it was going to cost. Mike spent about 2 hours going over everything and answering all of my questions. His prices my was the best and even with adding a whole house fan it was still cheaper than the other people’s prices. Gave a small deposit and set a install date for 5 days later. Thought it would take two days but Manny and his install crew came in and did a professional job in one day. They were all respectful and explained everything they did and how to operate. Only being one day since install everything is all good. So from my wife and I we would like to thank Mike for spending time with giving the estimate and Manny and his crew for the install and attic man for doing a great job on getting our needs taken care of. Thanks Paul John came out to due a minor repair and was on time and determined problem quick took care of it. Thanks for a great job. The first part of December they had to put a new motor in my new heat pump but the tech was knowledgeable and was on time and furnace working again. Furnace started acting up again and called them and they came out and could not find a problem and within a hour the problem came back and they came out first thing the next morning and found the problem and ordered a new pc board and sensors and will be installing next week. Though it has only been a little over a year and had many problems with new heat pump the Attic Man has always came out and repaired under warranty. Kobe was a great service tech, he replaced the board and sensors and was still having a problem with it and he also replaced the thermostat once again and things seem to be working now. On this unit as many issues it has had I hope we finally can start trusting it. Attic man techs are good and come out right away to repair. Today we had attic man come out again as another thermostat went out. This time Kobe came back and the service manager Randal came with him and was involved in the repairs and they decided they possibly have had a bad batch of thermostats as this was the fifth one they have replaced since our heat pump was installed 15 months ago. This time they installed a completely different echo thermostat. Like always attic man was a professional company to deal with. Randal told me that if the issues come back again they would be replacing the complete heat pump with a new one. Hoping it does not come to that and this takes care of the ongoing problem.

Mr. Fidel was very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful during the service visit today. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions honestly, and made sure the system was working properly before leaving. The install was handled very professionally, I knew exactly what to expect. There was an issue that came up days after install and BOOM it was taken care of right away. If you are lucky, you will get Dustin as an install technician, but I assume they are all squared away.

Austin came out to do a routine check-up on our system and was very friendly and polite. I was working in the backyard and did not feel uncomfortable at all allowing him to go in and out of the house unattended. As far as maintenance goes, he showed me all the check points he looked at and gave our system a clean bill of health before we go into the hot summer months. Austin Dizon from Attic Man was here for my spring AC tune‑up and inspection. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and very technically sound. After the inspection he advised that the system was working exactly as expected and didn’t need anything at this time. He also made a few thoughtful recommendations to improve reliability and enhance performance. One of the reasons I switched to Attic Man a few years ago is because they promised honest inspections — not the automatic “cracked heat exchanger” scare tactics I had just experienced with a competitor on a two‑year‑old system. So far, Attic Man has only recommended preventative or performance‑related enhancements, and I genuinely feel I can trust them when they do tell me something needs attention. The team finished removing old insulation, cleaning and sanitizing our 86 year old attic yesterday. Customer service was above and beyond. They communicated well, kept work areas spotless and did a wonderful job overall. They showed us photos of the attic and we could not believe how clean it was. We recommend this company highly.

I had my new AC unit installed last week. The crew from the sale manager to technicians are all honest, professionals, and did a great job. I definitely recommend to everyone who look for a heating & air company.

So let us start in how we came to find the attic man. 8 months ago my wife and I were pondering getting a new heat pump as ours was 22 years old, not that it was not working but did not want to get caught in middle of summer in need of one. Called to get a appt and me being a little older was not prepared for AI and got frustrated with making a appt so I put it off. But I kept getting emails and texts every so often and seeing adds and had a good rating from SMUD. So again I tried to make a appt a week ago and again me being older was a little frustrated with AI, but this time I guess someone decided to actually get back to me in a phone call and a appt was set to get a est. So two days later Mike arrived to give an estimate, I already had two estimates from other companies so I kinda of knew about what it was going to cost. Mike spent about 2 hours going over everything and answering all of my questions. His prices my was the best and even with adding a whole house fan it was still cheaper than the other people’s prices. Gave a small deposit and set a install date for 5 days later. Thought it would take two days but Manny and his install crew came in and did a professional job in one day. They were all respectful and explained everything they did and how to operate. Only being one day since install everything is all good. So from my wife and I we would like to thank Mike for spending time with giving the estimate and Manny and his crew for the install and attic man for doing a great job on getting our needs taken care of. Thanks Paul John came out to due a minor repair and was on time and determined problem quick took care of it. Thanks for a great job. The first part of December they had to put a new motor in my new heat pump but the tech was knowledgeable and was on time and furnace working again. Furnace started acting up again and called them and they came out and could not find a problem and within a hour the problem came back and they came out first thing the next morning and found the problem and ordered a new pc board and sensors and will be installing next week. Though it has only been a little over a year and had many problems with new heat pump the Attic Man has always came out and repaired under warranty. Kobe was a great service tech, he replaced the board and sensors and was still having a problem with it and he also replaced the thermostat once again and things seem to be working now. On this unit as many issues it has had I hope we finally can start trusting it. Attic man techs are good and come out right away to repair.

My experience with Attic Man was truly exceptional. 1) Noah Z., our installer, demonstrated "outstanding performance"and patiently provided comprehensive instructions on operating the mini-split systems. 2) Angel C., who supported Noah, was highly professional and executed his tasks with excellence. 3) Jesus, our sheetrock and texture technician, also delivered superior results in restoring my walls following the removal of the wall heater and outdated wall air conditioning unit. I absolutely recommend ATTIC MAN for all your heating and air-conditioned needs.

Everything went awesome, and we’re happy with how the installation went. The install team was great—friendly, professional, and respectful throughout the process. They made sure everything was done properly and took the time to clean up after the job, which we really appreciated. The whole experience felt smooth and well-organized from start to finish. We chose Atticman based on a recommendation, and it definitely turned out to be a good decision.

This is from two years ago, and popped up as if unfinished for today's appointment, and I added in more for today's service below. Daniel was friendly, took care of his business, and let our dog lick his face, which we never do, so thanks for the positive service on all accounts! Since this Google review system won't let me submit a second review, I'll just add it here: Scheduling was a bit wonky, in my initial appointment was changed without forewarning. That said, it was great to see Kobe again, and he got the job of moving my condenser out of the way of a patio job done quickly and per my expectations. He also helped me get information about the best way to approach our concrete job with relation to the condenser being reinstalled next week.

Atticman installed a new heatpump/air conditioner. It's working fantastically. We discovered access to the unit was not up to code. The previous home owners covered over the compliant access point. Jesus from Atticman came by to follow up on additional work needed for attic access. We discussed solutions. Jesus took pictures and videos, we discussed my options and he was very pleasant. Atticman installed my rooftop unit about two years ago. After a recent roof replacement, the unit started making a loud noise. Atticman quickly diagnosed the issuethat roofers had placed shingles on the unit and damaged the fan motor. They replaced the motor right away, and it’s running perfectly again. Great service, responsive team, and knowledgeable technicians. Highly recommend!

About a year and a half ago I hired Atticman Heating and Air Conditioning to replace an old HVAC system with a new Heat Pump and blower, replace all the attic ductwork after cleaning out old insulation, sanitizing and resealing the attic from the main home, then blow in new insulation. They did a fantastic job all around, I’ve been very happy with the results. I even recommended them to my parents who hired them to replace their HVAC. Top notch work and products, I’ll definitely use them in the future for all my home HVAC needs. I highly recommend them, Tyler was very professional and he and his team do great work.

Gerald and his crew came on time and spent long hours and two days removing the old HVAC system and replacing everything including new ductwork, attic fan, and enlarging the intake vent. Explained every process completely. Then Jorge and his crew came in on the third day to seal attic voids and insulate. On time, very skilled and efficient at their jobs. They just finished today. Just finished having a new system put into the house. It could not have gone any smoother. Requested a quote on a Friday night, had someone check the system on Monday, figured out a plan and had arranged the work later that afternoon and now today, Thursday my house is 🥶🥶🥶.i love it, we’re ready for summer. Dustin from Atticman Heating & Air just diagnosed and replaced a defective thermostat for our upstairs HVAC system, which was installed last year by Atticman. He did an excellent job, replacing the thermostat, connecting it to our wi-fi, and explaining some of the settings to us. The repair is covered by our warranty.

We have a yearly subscription which is around $10 per month and that gives us two visits. They installed our new system a few years ago or so.. They are always on time and very courteous and not pushy.

My furnace needed repairs and maintenance. The tech who came out, Dustin, was very professional and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to get the repairs done and explain everything to me. There was some issues after the service that required PGE coordination Dustin was able to speak twice with PGE to help resolve the issues. I’ll be using Atticman for all future maintenance and repairs.

Mike from Atticman arrived on time, and checked over all areas of the recently installed HVAC system, as part of the overall job. He was also very helpful RE-explaining how to set the Ecobee “smart” thermostat. Thank you Mike from Atticman! 👍
