Two years later, I wanted to come back and update my original review.

After choosing Attic Man for our new HVAC system, I can honestly say we’ve had a great experience. From the initial consultation to the installation and everything that has followed, the team has always been professional, responsive, and willing to help.

I especially want to recognize Randall. Over the past two years, he has been incredible to work with. He’s knowledgeable, patient, honest, and always takes the time to answer questions and make sure things are handled the right way. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers, and that kind of service is hard to find.

Like any HVAC system, we’ve had questions and a few things we’ve wanted checked along the way. What has impressed me most is that Attic Man has always stood behind their work and has been there when we’ve needed them.

Looking back, I’m really glad we chose Attic Man. Great people, excellent customer service, and a company that has earned my trust. Thank you to Darwin for getting us started and to Randall and the entire team for continuing to take great care of us over the last two years.

Kris was great! He was on time, friendly, informative, and really showed a lot of care in everything he did. I especially loved how he didn't just wear shoe coverings. He placed them on his foot in mid air so they wouldn't touch the outside areas and removed them before setting foot back down outside when he was leaving. Logan was the personable technician that came to our home to look at our system we were having an issue. He was professional and wonderfully thorough. He took his time to do a complete diagnosis and check-up on our air-conditioning (as well as heating system). He took multiple pictures of the issues he found which were shared with me, clearly articulated and explained. Communication was easy and with my systems issues discussed, the necessary & immediate repair was completed right away with long-term solutions detailed for our aging systems continuum. The diagnostic fee was absorbed into the final cost of todays repair. Logan saved us from tomorrows triple-digit temperatures... Thank you!

We recently had our entire HVAC system replaced by Atticman Heating & Air Conditioning and we couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish.

Before making a decision, I got multiple quotes from different companies around Sacramento. Atticman wasn’t the cheapest quote we received but they also weren’t the most expensive. They came in right in the middle and after comparing everything that was included, I honestly felt they offered the best overall value.

The sales representative who came to our home was knowledgeable, patient and never made us feel pressured. He took the time to answer all of our questions, explained the differences between the equipment options, and went over the warranties in detail. The quality of the products Atticman installs, combined with their excellent warranty, gave us a lot of confidence that we were making the right investment.

Another thing that really stood out to us was that Atticman is a locally owned and operated company that has been serving the Sacramento area for around 10 years. Learning that the owner graduated from El Camino High School and has lived in Sacramento his entire life made us feel even better about choosing them. Supporting a local business that truly cares about the community was important to us.

On installation day, the crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They immediately got to work and worked incredibly hard throughout the entire day. Everyone on the crew was professional, respectful of our home, and kept the work area clean. Once the installation was complete, they walked us through the new system, answered every question we had, and made sure we were completely comfortable before leaving.

Our new system has been running flawlessly ever since. The comfort in our home has improved dramatically and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The workmanship was top notch but what impressed us just as much was the customer service. Every member of the crew was friendly, courteous and genuinely cared about doing a great job.

One of the things we also learned is that Atticman doesn’t just install heating and air conditioning systems but they also do attic insulation. After seeing the quality of their work and how well they treated us throughout this project, we’ll definitely be calling them back when we’re ready to upgrade our attic insulation as well.

We recently had three straight days of emergency ductwork and attic work completed in our home, and it was truly a very positive experience.

On Monday and Tuesday, we had Darryl, Noah, and Jaime. They arrived bright and early, ready to get to work. They were courteous, professional, and respectful, and they kept us updated as needed throughout the process. After the work was completed, I told them they were like the pizza delivery person—someone who always brings joy—but 1,000 times better.

This morning, we had Alejandro, Damon, and Jovany. They were also courteous, professional, and respectful. You have hired some truly outstanding people.
I will be more than happy to spread the word that Atticman not only provides exceptional service, but also employs some remarkable professionals. All six technicians who came to our home deserve to be recognized for their outstanding work. They were thoughtful, considerate, and efficient as a heat pump.

Stan also deserves recognition. It all starts with him. When I was referred to Atticman, Stan picked up when I called. He recognized my situation was urgent, put me on hold, spoke to his manager and was able to squeeze me in for a consult on the following Monday instead of Thursday. Stan provides exceptional customer service and that should never go unnoticed.

**There are always unforeseen challenges with any project but they handled them all in stride and without issue.

We will be choosing them for our HVAC replacement as well.

Dylan came out to service our 36-year-old HVAC system. He was on time very polite and courteous and knowledgeable of his job. Unfortunately our unit was not repairable. It was too old And seen better days. Dylan got us in touch with Kyle On the same day so we could go over pricing and different options. Kyle was very easy to work with, he explained everything very very well, now we wait for the new unit to come in and be installed. so far we are very happy with the service and would recommend them.

Had a visit from Atticman to talk about insulation in my home . John & JT were very kind and professional and gave me great information on how l should proceed with my decision. Update: Duct installation March 10, 2025
The crew from Atticman; Dillion, Clayton, &Eddie,came this morning arrived on time to do a complete New Duct installation Dillion drew out the layout design and took pictures when the job was completed. Dillion "tested" the new duct work and I was so pleased as l could feel a good amount of air flow through ALL the ducts. A huge improvement from old duct work installed '2000.They also took extra care to cover my flooring and any furniture that needed protection. The crew was very friendly and explained any questions l had. As a business owner myself l appreciate the kindness and professionalism Atticman shows to their clients. If you are considering a new HVAC or Duct Installation or Attic Insulation ATTICMAN is who you should call !
UPDATE: ATTICMAN returned today March 19 2025 to do some adjustments to the duct work that was done and also to "shoot" much needed insulation in the attic.The crew that arrived was Zak, Jacob. Alejandro.They arrived on time was very kind and respectful took extra care to cover and protect areas in my home were they were working. And cleaned up after the job was done. Today l signed up with Atticman for there Cool Club program which gives me two maintenance visits a year. One for summer AC maintenance ck, One for heating. Very affordable the tech Robert, who came out was very friendly and professional showed up on time and explained thoroughly what he was doing. I'm very pleased with the customer service l recieve with Atticman

I was having issues with my thermostat and call Atticman.
The tech Robert came out work on the issue for over 1 hour and fix the problem and there was no Charge !! Robert was very professional and friendly and was very thorough the customer service l receive has never let me down !!

Had my AC yearly service done today by Logan from Atticman. He arrived on time and service my AC in a timely manner. He explain throughly and with no pressure all repairs that need to be addressed. He gave me several options on repairs which l found helpful. If your looking for a reputable and professional HVAC company that treats you with professionalism and NO high pressure then ATTICMAN is your go to for your HVAC & INSTALLATION needs.

After considering pouring more money into a 26yr old HVAC unit l decided to replace my old HVAC with a New HVAC by ATTICMAN
NOAH & ANGEL were my tech installers very kind gentleman and respectful of my home. They arrived on time and the job was done in two days ! They both had great experience & knowledge about what they were doing which gave me great comfort in knowing that the money l was spending was well worth it. If you are thinking about a new HVAC system for your house CALL ATTICMAN and ask for Zak he's the man !! At ATTICMAN....

ATTICMAN came today to create a "New door" that goes to the closet were my HVAC system is they're handyman Jesus came to do the job. I am so pleased with his work pays great detail to his craftsman ship and very professional and cleaned up after he was done very thoroughly. So pleased ATTICMAN they are the best !!

ATTICMAN tech Mike came for quality inspection which impressed me with that procedure to double check on the New HVAC system that was done by the previous crew. He was thorough in his inspection which again was impressive.
ATTICMAN really shows that they care about the customers but they also care about the integrity of they're work and reputation.

Had final inspection went smoothly as expected Atticman always delivers...

What a great company, fantastic customer service. Called to have them come out to check my system that was installed last year. Lexi scheduled me for the very next day. There seemed to be an issue with it not cooling effectively. Dustin came out in a very timely manor, he was even a little early. He found the problem and fixed it straight away! I can’t speak highly enough of their professionalism!

Before I start, I would like to thank the whole Atticman team.This is my 2nd review, after install. Eric and his team where awesome! They show up before I went to work, to explained everything they were going to do. They replaced ducting and vents, full havc system and put up new Co detectors. Dillon and Logan inspected my system this year, and, though they didn't have great news they had great knowledge and provided supportive feedback and next steps.

We received a thorough inspection and maintenance of our A/C and Heater unit. I would recommend Atticman to everyone.

Outstanding service. They have gotten me used to expecting a little bit more than what I asked for!

David was exceptional. Service was scheduled maintenance. However, for many years we had considered adding an air scrubber, talked to people and did research but things just never seemed comfortable. Plus it's expensive. Today, I got into a detailed conversation with David and also called upon a friend who's more knowledgable. David adequately answered all questions he had and more and without pressure. I finally felt completely ok going forward with this due to David and also past dealings with Atticman. We got a checkback from Michael on a problem that was intermittent and was pretty hard to figure out, but he figured it out. He is awesome. We really appreciate his thoroughness.

Dillon was great and checked and cleaned the coils on my a/c unit outside and in the attic. He even checked the ductwork as I noticed a couple of rooms that were warmer than others. Appreciated his honest assessment and service quality. Glad I found Atticman!

Excellent service, after our 25 year old ac unit failed we found atticman as an approved smud partner. The team thoroughly explored the cause for the breakage and presented our options. When we decided to replace our unit they also supplied us with a couple portable ac units to tide us over. Overall we were extremely pleased.

Love these guys. Every other company we've spoken to took one look at our low-vaulted attic and said no way. Atticman's team climbed up without any issue, identified the issues, and quickly completed the requested work. Did not oversell or pressure in the initial contact, and they were completely open to address issues over time. Will be using again.

Excellent customer service from all staff. Quickly responded to my inquiry and was able to schedule a service for my expected day/time. Dillon explained the repair option clearly and a new capacitor in the AC system was installed promptly to get our AC system running efficiently again.

I first met Kyle one year ago when we had Atticman come out and assess our HVAC concerns/needs. Then, he was amazing from the very beginning, starting with placing booties over his shoes before he entered our home and thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly, walking us through suggestions, ideas, and what had initially transpired that led us to calling him in the first place! After thoughtful consideration, we decided to hold off, no fault of Kyle’s or Atticman whatsoever! One year later, Kyle came back out, had our file saved and as professional as he always has been, walked us back through the project details as if we had just met, which I was appreciative of! This is the second time we’ve worked with atticman. I can’t say enough how much we enjoy working with them. First time was a trivial tuneup, second time was an entirely new hvac. Even with a large purchase, they make it palatable

We adopted a new hvac unit with our newish home and thank goodness we kept the monthly program which extended the previous owner's warranty. Our AC stopped working, they came out next day, fixed a clog/pipe and got it working again in less than an hour, no charge. Still super happy with the whole team. Fast forward 2 years- later we are still happy. And apparently they are full service- my daughter fell while Kong was doing our service and he took the time to help her a bandaid on! So kind!

I would 100% recommend Atticman and especially Yuriy their technician! Not only did he solve the problem, he was kind, professional, knew his stuff and was very thorough. I will request him 100% for future maintenance of my system.

Always a pleasant experience in the HVAC process with Atticman. Dustin was very knowledgeable and experienced. He found a few minor things to be done at a later date, which I appreciate Everything went smoothly, happy to say.

The temperature outside was 100. I turned on the A/C for the first time since last summer and nothing happened. The system didn’t kick in. I tried to troubleshoot the problem on my own by tripping the electric panel, but still nothing. By that time it was after hours and I didn’t think Atticman would still be open but my daughter encouraged me to call. Surprisingly, Stan was still there. He was so kind and helpful and didn’t want me suffering in the stifling heat. He was able to find a technician willing to come out. That technician was Yuriy. Yuriy quickly found the source of the problem which, embarrassingly, could have been prevented had I changed the filter sooner. The system Atticman installed is so incredibly amazing that instead of overworking the system, it automatically shut down and protected itself. He showed me how to change the filter and he drained the clogged pipe and it was back up and running like a well-oiled machine once again. I am a woman, who is both elderly and disabled. Because of that combination unscrupulous people have taken advantage of me many times over the years and it’s hard to know who to trust. Atticman is truly a breath of fresh air. They set the bar high. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Take it from an old woman who has experienced the worst and the best - Atticman is truly the best of the best.

After getting several quotes, AtticMan came in with the best price, but what really stood out to me was how honest and straightforward they were. They took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done, what didn’t need to be done, and why. I never felt pressured or like they were trying to upsell me. The whole process was surprisingly fast. It was only about a week from the estimate to the actual work, and the job was completed in two days. The crew was fantastic. Before they started, they laid down tarps and protected everything in my home. Everyone was polite, professional, and easy to talk to. They showed me pictures throughout the project so I could see what was being done, and they were always willing to stop and answer my questions. One thing that really impressed me was how clean they left everything. Honestly, my house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. The difference has been noticeable right away. The new ductwork and attic insulation have made a huge improvement in how my house cools, and my air conditioner doesn’t seem to have to work nearly as hard. Atticman installed a new heatpump/air conditioner. It's working fantastically. We discovered access to the unit was not up to code. The previous home owners covered over the compliant access point. Jesus from Atticman came by to follow up on additional work needed for attic access. We discussed solutions. Jesus took pictures and videos, we discussed my options and he was very pleasant. I would definitely call Atticman again when the time comes for future service.

The installation crew - Manny, Adam & Javier did an outstanding job. They worked efficiently, were very respectful of our home, and took the time to clean up thoroughly when work was finished. Their professionalism and attention to detail made what could have been stressful project much easier. Given the significant investment, we're hopeful the new system will provide reliable performance, improved comfort, and energy efficiency for many years to come. Atticman is a very professional & responsive company. I am the first owner of a 2019 Energy Star home, so my focus is on preventive maintenance. Both service technicians were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They explained the condition of my system in detail and made recommendations but no hard sell. Have a reasonably priced service contract with them which (without all specifics) gives me two maintenence visits a year, priority if my system breaks down & discounted repair costs. Want to give a shout out to Joel, who was just here, for his impressive knowledge and thorough explanation of my heating system. I understand it much better now. I strongly recommend Atticman. UPDATE: My recent experience with Atticman justifies my five star review earlier this year. On April 27, 2023, during unseasonably hot weather, I called Atticman because my A/C was not working. Victoria prioritized my request, as per my maintenance agreement, and scheduled an appointment with Mike the next day. She also kept me apprised of his revised arrival time. Victoria exemplifies the professionalism & friendliness I expect and want from the front office staff of a top service company. Mike was very impressive. He listened carefully to my explanation of the intermittant problems that have plagued my A/C system for the last two years. Mike was obviously very experienced & kept me apprised at every step. The repair was complex. After he diagnosed the initial problem - he left for a short time to purchase a part not among the stock kept in his truck. After installing it, he found further problems that required a second part that thankfully fixed my A/C system. I appreciated Mike's detailed explanations. I opted to add two items - one was a surge protector - that are now required on new builds but were not when my house was built. Adding them made sense. Very happy with Austin and Atticman. Atticman sent out a technician to service our heater, and he was fantastic from start to finish. He was thorough during the inspection and discovered a small water leak coming from the heater’s exhaust pipe. Instead of just pointing it out, he went all the way up into the attic to make sure nothing was being damaged — thankfully everything was still in good shape. He explained the issue clearly and let us know that the repair will need to be done on a sunny, dry day to make sure it’s fixed properly. I really appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be requesting him again when the weather cooperates. Highly recommend!

We were devastated when our 40-year-old HVAC system finally failed, but they made the entire replacement process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Atticman Heating, Air Conditioning & Insulation removed the 60+ year old cellulose insulation from my attic and replaced a few, beat-up, A/C flex ducts, installed an attic gable fan and sealed all gaps and areas where air might leak in from the house. I was surprised at how much sealing was done! Then they blew in new 13+ inches of fiberglass insulation. It took them one day longer then expected because of all the debris that was left in the attic from when we had our roof replaced 15 years ago. There was no change to the price of the contract, no surprises! Jorge, Alejandro and Adam were a great team. They showed up on time, protected the walls and floors, from the front door to the attic access, and when they left everything was clean and vacuumed. All in all, I would highly recommend Atticman Heating, Air Conditioning and Insulation! Seems like they do a lot more then A/C work and Insulation. Check them out, I'm sure you'll be happy with their work!

He never talked down to me and treated me with respect. Afterwards he gave me three different quotes at various budgets based on his findings. Very pleased with the recent installation of a new heat pump and whole house fan by Atticman. It was a two day job but the crew came early each day so to minimize time in the hotter part of the day. Every day there was a text informing us of their ETA. They were courteous and explained everything they were doing, always asking us if we had any questions. They took care to cover floors to minimize impact. I am not an HVAC expert but the details on the job outside and inside seem meticulous. The unit itself is whisper quiet (both the heat pump and whole house fan). They set up dual zones with two thermostats and that works very well. Overall, very impressed with the quality and attention to detail. Highly recommend.
